Passionate, adventurous American university students are needed to come to teach in English for about 4 weeks in Hangzhou,Jiaxing, Zhoushan, Shengyang in China.
Selected teachers will be able to develop curriculum in their subject of choice with an emphasis on English language and selected themes.

New Field International Education (NFE) proudly presents The Camp of Talented Youth. This exceptional summer program is sponsored by the Commonwealth Association of International Education Exchange (CAIEE) and the Council Standards for International Education Travel (CSIET).

New Field International Education and The Camp of Talented Youth encourage passionate, devoted, and adventurous American university students to teach and spend nearly 4 weeks in the beautiful city of Hangzhou. This once-in-a-lifetime experience gives selected teachers the opportunity to not only teach English in China, but also become an international Au Pair.

Aspiring educators are given the chance to develop classroom curriculum, while exploring and implementing teaching methods, and immersing themselves in Chinese culture. This unique opportunity has NO agency fee and gladly provides free accommodations and meals to all of its camp teachers. Teaching English in China allows you to engage yourself in your passions and prepare for a potential future career in the field of education – all while enjoying the charming and bustling nature of Hangzhou.

Qualifications:
•High level English speakers at leading U.S. universities.
•Be responsible, patience, outgoing with communication skills.
•Be able to develop teaching at least one subjects: Presentation and Debate, Literature, Drama and Performance, Art, Science, Painting, Music and Dance, Sports, Cooking, etc.
•Be adaptive to changing circumstances and schedules.
•Be responsible, patience, outgoing with communication skills.
•TESOL Certificate or Teacher Certificate is preferred.
•Previous tutoring/camp/teaching experience with English as a secondary language students is preferred.

Responsibilities:
•To conduct lessons to classes of 25-30 students with assistance of one Chinese coordinator.
•To inspire students to learn new knowledge and acquire new skills.
•To provide high quality teaching and tutoring at all times.
•To prepare and provide Demo classes as required.
•To provide advice and assistance to students, in and out of the classroom.
•To prepare new teaching materials as requested.
•To develop and maintain healthy atmosphere all the time.
•Follow adjustment to teaching plan and proper arrangement.

Note: Program dates are subject to change and English teachers are required to participate in at least two sessions.
